Online application for receiving Degree/Diploma Certificate (Convocation- VI)

General Instructions|Instructions In GUJARATI
  1. An applicant has to fill correct data so that Degree/Diploma Certificate can be printed and delivered correctly.
  2. An applicant has to pay the fees of Rs. 500/- for Degree, 300/- for Diploma and 1000/- for Ph.D. certificates in any SBI branch and Rs. 200/- additional if you want to be a member of GTU’s Alumni Association. Please fill the separate Challan for both (Convocation Degree/Diploma Certificate and GTU’s Alumni Association (if you want to be a member of GTU’s Alumni Association)) fees. Please read carefully Fee Payment instruction.
  3. Please write SBI Collect Reference Number in text-box of Challan/Transaction Number. Please write "SBI" in place of Bank Branch Name in case of debit/credit/internet banking payment.
  4. In case of debit/credit/internet banking payment E-receipt of Transaction must be attach with the Application Form, and in case of Cash Payment please attach original Depositor copy of Challan with Bank Stamp.
  5. Please verify before printing that Barcode and Photo is properly displayed or not.
  6. If photo is not available then kindly refer details in the photo change circular available at 6th Convocation option at university website: gtu.ac.inand if photo is available then photo can’t be changed.
  7. For name correction in the convocation degree/diploma certificates, kindly contact your college/institute and update the same in the college/institute before 10 Dec. 2016, application after that will not be entertained.
  8. Please carefully check your photo, full name, college name & CPI/CGPA before submitting the application and if you find any query you can mail on “ convocation@gtu.edu.in”
  9. Please mail to “ convocation@gtu.edu.in” regarding any convocation application form query/problem.
  10. An applicant must submit their Application at GTU, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad with following documents:
    • Degree / Diploma Application Form printout with student signature.
    • Original Copy of Challan-Depositor Copy (both for Degree/Diploma Certificate and GTU’s Alumni Association (if you want to be a member of GTU’s Alumni Association)).
    • Photo ID proof (Voter ID Card/Driving License/ PAN Card/Passport/Adhar Card/College ID any one).
    • Please write "(Applicable Convocation Year eg: 2014) Convocation Degree/Diploma Application Form" on top of the Envelop.
  11. Applicant must keep photo Copy (Xerox copy) of all above mentioned Documents for further Reference.
  12. An applicant can submit their application at GTU personally or send it to GTU via Post/Courier (any type of post) on or before 26 Dec 2016 referable to The Registrar, “Gujarat Technological University Nr. Vishwakarma Government Engineering College Nr. Visat Three Roads, Visat - Gandhinagar Highway Chandkheda, Ahmedabad – 382424, Gujarat”.
  13. Application received after will be rejected and GTU is not responsible for any postal delay.
  14. If student have completed all the mention process before to get degree/diploma certificate, student will be received the certificate on or before 1st May 2017.

How to get GTU degree Certificate for Pass Out Students in 2016....???

Dear Friends, If your last exam result was declared in 2016 then you are 2016 pass out student so you have to do the procedure for convocation in the next convocation (in the 6th convocation). i.e. next year Jan-2017. Form filling for the same will be start in Oct or Nov-2016 on Official GTU website ( gtu.ac.in --> Student Zone --> Convocation). Currently you cant able to fill up the form of convocation.
